ASHDOWN, Ark. -- An Ashdown High School student recently returned from a venture in Washington D.C.

Bannon Price participated in the United States Senate Youth Program, as one of two students from the state of Arkansas permitted to attend.

While in D.C., he attended a reception with U.S. senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton, visited the White House to meet President Joe Biden and First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, toured Mount Vernon, and laid a wreath at former President George Washington's tomb.

"USSYP truly helped me to understand different perspectives and know how empowering collective passion can be to create a life changing impact on the world," Price said.
