TO THE EDITOR:
"...Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do..." Luke 23:34 KJV.
If Jesus could say that about the people that were torturing him to death, nothing you have ever done or said could be worse than that, yet He says the same thing concerning you. Every person ever conceived has a Jesus size hole in their heart, they try to fill it with drugs, alcohol, sex, power, money, fame and fortune, but all those things only pacify for a short time. Only Jesus satisfies for all eternity. No one is good enough to go to Heaven by himself or herself, not the Pope, not Billy Graham, not you or me. Moreover, nobody is bad enough that they must go to Hell, not Hitler, not Saddam Hussein, not you or me. However, everyone that accepts Jesus as their Lord and Savior goes to Heaven and everyone that rejects Jesus as their Lord and Savior goes to Hell. Best person in the world, worst person in the world all go to Hell for same reason, not accepting Jesus' pardon for their sin.
Romans 3:23 KJV For all (you, me, everybody) have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin (singular unbelief only) is death (Hell); but the gift of God is eternal life (Heaven) through Jesus Christ our Lord. Murderers do not go to hell because they are murderers; not accepting Jesus' death as payment for their sin makes them have to go to Hell. In addition, your sin is why you need Jesus to save you also; you will not go to hell because of what you do or say or don't do or don't say; not accepting Jesus' sacrifice for your sins is the only thing that makes you have to go to Hell. 1 John 5:17a KJV All unrighteousness is sin: Hell is not for bad people & Heaven is not for good people, Hell is for all unsaved (non- Christian) people, and Heaven is for all saved people (Christians ONLY), it is as simple as that. GOD is not the problem, but Jesus is the only solution! ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!
