TEXARKANA, Ark. -- Macie Lee belted a two-run home, drove in four runs, and struck out seven as Arkansas High cruised past Lake Hamilton, 11-1, in a Conference 5A-South tilt on Monday night at Lady Back Field.

Arkansas High (15-4) continued their impressive form, securing their ninth win in the last 10 games with the convincing victory over Lake Hamilton.

The game took an early turn in Arkansas High's favor when Macie Lee's line-drive, RBI-double to center field brought in Jaela Coleman, who had advanced to second on a wild pitch.

After a scoreless second, Lake Hamilton got its only run of the game in the third, and the Lady Backs quickly answered back with two of its own to take the lead for good, 3-1.

Lee again got an RBI with a single to right field, scoring Aniya Arnold. And, two batters later, Savannah Wilder drove in Nakeyah Davis with a hard ground ball to right field.

Arkansas High's Palin Nichols helped the home team score an insurance run in the fourth inning with an RBI single, bringing in Coleman. The Lady Backs scored two more in the fifth and five more in the sixth, including Lee's homer, to close out the game.

Jewel Smart finished 3-for-3 at the plate, scoring two runs. Arnold and Wilder added two hits in the win.
