TEXARKANA, Texas -- The T-Line transit bus system will begin Saturday routes again April 6.

The service stopped in 2020 due to a lack of drivers during the pandemic.

"The demand is there, and now we have more drivers and more buses thanks to the CARES Act," Ark-Tex Council of Governments Transportation Coordinator Veronica Duran said.

Buses will run 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. across the city.

"We running all stops plus going to Texas A&M (Texarkana) to help out students," Duran said.

The fare will be $1.25 or $1 for students. This cost will allow riders to travel to any of the stops on the route.
