Work to close I-30 westbound tonight

ATLANTA, Texas -- Work at the Interstate 30/I-369/U.S. Highway 59 interchange will require closure of I-30 westbound tonight. Traffic will be diverted to the frontage road.

Repair work is scheduled to take place from 8 p.m. Wednesday through 6 a.m. Thursday, according to a news release from the Texas Department of Transportation.

During the overnight hours, I-30 westbound motorists will be diverted to the frontage road at Exit 220B/Richmond Road. Traffic can re-enter I-30 westbound between University and FM 989/Kings Highway.

Motorists traveling to I-369S/US 59S can travel the westbound frontage road to University Avenue, take the westbound to eastbound U-turn bridge to the eastbound frontage road and then proceed to the I-369S/US 59S entrance ramp.
