GENOA, Ark.-Trent Bearden nailed a clutch game-winning shot with four seconds remaining to lift Genoa Central over Spring Hill, 41-39, in the Genoa Central Junior High Tournament on Thursday.
Drew Mason led the Dragons with 18 points and Bearden finished with five.
With the win, Genoa Central advances to the championship game to face Nevada County at 2:15 p.m. Saturday.
Nevada County 68, Lafayette County 30
GENOA, Ark.-Nevada County found alot of success in its win against Lafayette County during the Genoa Central Junior High Tournament.
Javontae Pearson and Jared Todd combined for 42 of Nevada County's 68 points, with the duo leading the team with 21 points apiece, as the Blue Jays advance to Saturday's showdown against Genoa Central in the championship game.
Lafayette County's Marion Featherson finished with seven points.
