SITE, TIME: Willie Williams Gym, Mount Pleasant, Texas, 6:30 p.m.

AT STAKE: Berth in Class 3A regional semifinals.

LAST ROUND: New Boston bested Daingerfield, 60-52, while Chapel Hill rolled to a 73-27 win over Elysian Fields.

COACH'S COMMENTS: New Boston's Michael Hill-"We have played well enough to win. Our starting five have never had to finish a fourth quarter. We have been getting leads, but losing them and that is because of the competition we faced in district. In the playoffs, we are facing teams that are a lot like us, and we are not used to finishing games.

"Chapel Hill are fundamentally sound. They have a good team, and they are ranked as the top team in the state. They play well together and do good things offensively. We are going to have to handle the pressure when they press us. My bench is going to have to step up, and give the starters a breather here and there. I am confident that we will go out and compete against them. Handling their press and getting quality minutes from my bench players are the two big keys. Chapel Hill shoots the ball well from the perimeter."

NEW BOSTON STARTING LINEUP: Carleigh Reeves, point guard; Carlee Ratcliff, guard; Grace Duffer, shooting guard; Chloe Davis, guard; Tamiya Smith, forward.
