Alleged assault leads to arrest of Arkansas man

A Hempstead County, Ark., man was arrested Thursday for allegedly attempting to assault another man with a knife during an argument at a residence.

Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/JOHN SYKES JR. - Long-time bus driver and dispatcher Tommy Devore is retiring after 65 years.

The suspect, Kenneth Lamb, no age available, got behind the alleged victim Chas Powell after he was asked to leave the property.
He allegedly attempted to cut the victim from behind with a Mossy Oak knife.
Deputy Landon Loe confiscated a knife from Lamb and arrested him for aggravated assault and terroristic threatening.
He was transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility where he is awaiting a first court appearance in the Hempstead County Circuit Court.
