Full-time Miller County employees will receive $750 retention incentive pay increases, and part-time employees will receive $350 increases.
A retention incentive is similar to a pay bonus and is used to encourage employees to continue to work. It is a one-time payment.
The Miller County Quorum Court approved the retention incentives Monday during the monthly meeting.
A total of 186 full-time employees will receive the $750 incentive, and about 36 part-time employees will receive the $350 incentive.
The incentive pay will cost the county general fund about $184,201.25.
