The Hempstead County Historical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, Ark.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
The evening program will feature local author Josh Williams. He will give a presentation on historical photographs of Washington taken from the early 19th century to the present and published in the "Images of America" series by Arcadia Publishing. The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County.
