Arkansas State Police Sgt. Jamie Gravier, 41, of Texarkana, Ark., was promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
He will assume new duties as assistant commander of the state Highway Patrol Division, Troop G in Hope.
Gravier most recently served as a post supervisor in Troop G. He is a 19-year veteran of the department.
