Nevada County Extension Service and Master Gardeners will hold "Spring a Time to Till" Garden Show and Plant Sale on April 14 in Prescott, Ark.
Chris H. Olsen, nationally recognized home and garden designer, author, TV personality and public speaker will give two talks. "Grow Your Own Jungle" covers using tropical and house plants as visual stimulation inside and outside the home. "First and Last Impressions" will teach listeners how to turn an otherwise mundane entrance, underused corner or backyard into a personal oasis.
Registration for the 10th annual event starts at 7:30 a.m., and the show is from 8 a.m. to noon at Central Baptist Church, 605 E. Second St. Vendors will be available throughout the morning, and a silent auction will be held.
The event is open to the public. Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Box lunches are available for $8 and include a chicken salad sandwich, chips, fruit, a cookie and a drink.
