Fall Festival returns to Spring Lake Park on Thursday with plenty of free, family-friendly fun.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the park, children can play in bounce houses, take hay rides, get their faces painted and more-and there will be candy. Both people and their pets can participate in costume contests.
The festival will be followed by a screening of "Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation" as part of the Texas-side Parks and Recreation Department's fall Movies in the Park series.
The movie will begin as the sun sets about 7:15 p.m.
