WAYNE FORREST

Wayne R. Forrest, 81, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, March 19, 2017, at a local hospice. Mr. Forrest was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Beaumont, Texas. He was a retired heavy equipment operator from Precinct 4 in Jefferson County. Survivors include one daughter and daughter-in-law, Michelle Forrest and Julia Schneider of Austin; one stepson, Johnny Ray of Texarkana; one stepddaughter and stepson-in-law, Tammy and Jason Thompson of Texarkana; one brother, Lynn Berkenbosch of Houston, Texas; two grandsons, Michael Kundes and Kerry Kundes; and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens, North Chapel, under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Online registration is at chapelwoodfuneralhome.com.
