DeKALB, Texas—Vickie Gail Kennedy-Wood, 67, of Houston died Thursday, May 25, 2017, at her home. Mrs. Kennedy-Wood was born Oct. 24, 1949, in Simms, Texas. Survivors include her husband, Stephen Wood; three sons, Brandon Wood and Derek Wood of Houston and Michael Dahlby of Sweden; her mother, Ana Lue Hargrave of Nacogdoches, Texas; one brother, Danny Kennedy of Cleburne, Texas; four sisters, Lynn Kennedy of Rio Vista, Texas, Tammy Kennedy of Fort Worth, Texas, Adana Hagel of Nacogdoches, Texas, and J'Nell Comprain of Houston; and a number of other relatives.
