WAYLON HOLLIS

ATLANTA, Texas—Waylon Jack Hollis, 79, of Arlington, Texas, died Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, in an Arlington hospital. Mr. Hollis was born April 10, 1938, in Bernice, La. He was retired from Kentwood Trucking. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Hollis. Survivors include five children, James Hollis of Lakewood, Colo., Kim Hollis Rugg of Highlands Ranch, Colo., Michael Keel of New Braunfels, Texas, Pruitt Keel of Tecumseh, Okla., and Cheryl Ann Martel of Arlington; two brothers, Jerry Hollis of Garland, Texas, and Mike Hollis of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Olive Branch Cemetery with James Wallace officiating. Burial will be under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
