PALESTINE, Texas—Howard Leroy Stone, 92, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2017, in a Texarkana, Texas, nursing home. Mr. Stone was born Aug. 25, 1925. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Herrington/Land of Memory Funeral Home. Burial will be in Land of Memory Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
