William Bryan Clenney

William Bryan "Bill" Clenney Sr., 95, of Texarkana, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at his home. Mr. Clenney was born July 27, 1922, in Avery, Texas. He was retried from Red River Army Depot and a Christian. He was a Army veteran of World War II and a member of Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 223, and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4562. Mr. Clenney was preceded in death by a son, William Bryan Clenney Jr. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lou and Alton Plemons of Garland, Texas, and Sandra and Kevin Sherfey of Seattle; two special nephews, Gerald Roseberry and Truman McGregor; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery.
