ASHDOWN, Ark.—Elsie Marie Melson Mahan, 88, of Fayetteville, Ark., died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, in Fayetteville. Mrs. Maham was born June 7, 1930, in Clarksville, Ark. She was retired from her husband's dental office and a member of Ashdown First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Mahan; and one son, Kent Mahan. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond Britt and Meredith Mahan; three grandchildren William Mahan, Rebecca Mahan and Jennifer Mahan; one nephew and spouse, Keith and Ellen Melson; one niece and spouse, Karen and Randy Parker; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Madden Funeral Home with Butch Riddle officiating.
