FRANK HALTER SR.

DE QUEEN, Ark.—Frank Edward Halter Sr., 83, of Horatio, Ark., died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2019, at his home. Mr. Halter was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Geneva community, Ark. He was employed in the poultry industry, attended Old Center Church, Horatio, and an Army National Guard veteran. Survivors include his wife, Henri Ann Lipsey Halter; one daughter, Holly Pettigrew of Horatio; two sons, Eddie Halter of Horatio and Rick Halter of Springdale, Ark.; two brothers, Bill Halter and Ronny Halter of De Queen; three sisters, Betty Murry of De Queen, Rosene Lochmiller of Frederickburg, Texas, and Bobbie Hotard of Farmerville, La.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Wilkerson Funeral Home with John Lindsey, Sam Hendricks and Rick Halter officiating. Burial will be in Old Center Cemetery, Horatio.
