RON BAKER

Ronald "Ron" Carl Baker, 79, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2019, in a local nursing home. Mr. Baker was born April 2, 1939, in Foreman, Ark. He was a retired truck driver and a member of Hardy United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Ann Baker; three daughters, Sharon Westfall of Texarkana and Carole Baker and Lee Ann Anderson of Oklahoma City; three sons, Don Baker of Kingston, Okla., John Free of Texarkana and Phillip Yarber of Del City, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will follow services at the funeral home.
