CATHRYN HANSON

Cathryn Cabiness Hanson, 93, of Garland, Ark., died Friday, May 10, 2019, at her home. Mrs. Hanson was born June 19, 1925, in Miller County, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Garland Community Church and Shiloh Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Hanson; and three grandsons, John Robert Keller, J.D. Hanson and Baby Boy Dildine. Survivors include three daughters and one son-in-law, Mary Keller Lukert of Maud, Texas, Ruby and Ken Dildine of Texarkana and Sue Hanson of Garland; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rohn and Carol Hanson of Hope, Ark., and Jeff and Vickie Hanson of Genoa, Ark.; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Revs. Wes Dean, Wallace Edgar, and Chris Parker officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Relatives will be at the family home, Garland. Memorials may be made to J.D.
