RETA HUDSON

Reta M. Hudson, 79, of Texarkana, Texas, died Thursday, May 9, 2019, in a local hospice. Mrs. Hudson was born June 17, 1939, in Romance, Ark. She was a retired Chief Dispersing Officer with Red River Army Depot and a member of First Baptist Church, Wake Village, Texas. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Crow. Survivors include her husband, Mike Hudson of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, David and Janet Willis of New Boston, Texas; one daughter, Danete Tyson of Texarkana; two stepchildren, Todd Hudson of Jacksonville, Fla., and Stacey Hudson of Okeechobee, Fla.; one brother and sister-in-law, Don and Glynna Chamblee of Kennedale, Texas; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church, Wake Village, with Scott Neathery and Ken Cox officiating. Entombment will be in Chapelwood Mausoleum under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
