TEXARKANA, Arkansas -- A Fouke, Arkansas, man accused of forcing himself on a 15-year-old neighbor has been charged with rape in Miller County.

Skylard Daniel Lashley, 23, allegedly assaulted the girl Aug. 10 when he was 22 and she was 15, according to a probable cause affidavit. A report was made Sept. 7 to the Miller County Sheriff's Office and the girl was interviewed at the Texarkana Children's Advocacy Center Sept. 9.

The girl allegedly reported that Lashley held her arms down during the assault in a residential back yard.
