NEW BOSTON, Texas -- Bowie County Commissioners will meet at 9 a.m. today, to consider reappointing each of the six current members of the Bowie Central Appraisal District Board of Directors to another two years term.
The Commissions Court meets on the Bowie County Courthouse second floor. The six they will vote on re-installing are Amy Bowers, Jay Davis, Jimmy Howell, Paul Miller, Robert Sheppard and Tom Whitten.
In other business, the court will consider approving a list of alternate ballot judges for the Nov. 2 special election, as well as give DeKalb City officials permission to demolish a building in the 300 block of Grizzly Street, at no cost to the county.
