TEXARKANA, Ark. – Miller County Justice of the Peace Carl Standridge has represented Miller County as a delegate to the Arkansas Association of Quorum Courts for the last three years, and he will continue to.

During their first meeting of the year Monday, Miller County Quorum Court members chose Standridge to stand in again as the county's 2022 delegate to the AAOQC.

For his part, Standridge, who accepted his re-appointment, said the association usually holds about three meetings a year and usually discusses pending state legislation and road work.

Following Standridge's appointment, the Court adjourned.
