Texarkana College Board considers Arts-Drama degree Monday morning

TEXARKANA, Texas -- The Texarkana College Board of Trustees will hold a regular meeting on Monday morning where a Memorandum of Understanding and Higher Education Emergency Relief Funding will be on the agenda.

As part of the board's consent agenda items for the meeting, there will be consideration of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution and Texarkana College.

Trustees will also consider the approval of the calendar for the 2022-2023 academic year and an Associate of Arts Degree with a Concentration in Drama.

There will be discussion regarding the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund before reports begin.

Reports will be made by College President Dr. Jason Smith, Vice President of Finance Kim Jones, Vice President of Instruction Dr. Donna McDaniel and Dean of Students Robert Jones before adjourning.

The meeting will convene at 11:30 a.m. in the Truman Arnold Student Center at the Great Room, 2500 North Robison Road.
