FLOYCE THOMPSON

Floyce Thompson, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Thompson was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Broken Bow, Okla. She was a retired bookkeeper in the construction and automotive industries and a member of Buchanan United Methodist Church. Survivors include one son, James Legate of Wake Village, Texas; one daughter, Shirley Cowan of Texarkana; one grandson, Brandon Cowan of Texarkana; three stepgrandchildren, Logan Hanning, Tony Hanning and Autumn Hanning of Texarkana; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Kylie, Jaxon and Waylon; and one special friend, Donley Aaron of Texarkana. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at East Funeral Home, Downtown, with Keith Ducroz officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
