Charlie W. Cook, 81, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, March 31, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Cook was born June 4, 1936, in the Red Colony, Sevier County, Ark. He was owner of Cook's Heat & Air Conditioning, a member of Central Baptist Church and an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by one son-in-law, Woodson Wright. Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Cook of Texarkana, Ark.; one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Paula Cook of Texarkana, Ark.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Sally Wright of Texarkana, Texas, and Beth and Ronnie Fischer of Wake Village, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Cecil Hairston of Cotton Shed, Ark; and three grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating. Private burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
