It is with great sadness that the family of Charlie W Cook announces his passing on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Charlie will be lovingly remembered by Mary, his wife of 59 years and his children, Sally Wright, Billy Cook (Paula), and Beth Fischer (Ronnie). Charlie will be fondly remembered and forever loved by his grandchildren, Jacob Wright (Shae), Zack Fischer (Katie) and Natalie Epperson (Joe) and his sister Doris Hairston (Cecil). Charlie was predeceased by his beloved son-in-law Woodson Wright, his parents, Preston and Emma Cook, and three brothers, Glenn Cook, Archie Cook, Teddy Cook and two sisters Ruby Fatheree and Velma Trichell. Charlie is blessed with a loving extended family and dear friends. Charlie was born June 4, 1936 in Red Colony, Sevier County, Arkansas. Charlie began Cook's Heating and Air Conditioning in 1980. Charlie, a US Army veteran and former police officer built the business on the principles of integrity and honesty that guided his life. He was an avid Razorback fan, enjoyed fishing and enjoying a "cup" with friends at Olde Tyme Burger Shop. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Phillip Dunn officiating with a private burial to follow. Private burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
