IDABEL, Okla.—Donald G. "D Ray" Ray, 72, of Redland community, Okla., died Sunday, April 1, 2018, in Paris, Texas. Mr. Ray was born Oct. 11, 1945. He was a retired superintendent, former teacher and coach with Haworth Schools, attended Redland United Methodist Church and Haworth Assembly of God Churches and an Air Force mechanic. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Monica. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Ray of Redland community; four children and spouses, D.J. and Rebecca Ray of Fort Bragg, N.C., Shelly Ray and Kemp Fuller of Haworth, Okla., April Ray and Chris Ford of Mount Vernon, Texas, and Melissa Ray and Mike Due of Mansfield, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Haworth First Assembly of God Church with Michael Due and Mark Davidson officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Redland Cemetery under direction of White Family Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Gideons, P.O. Box 623, Idabel, OK 74745.
