Carolyn Duncan

On Monday, March 12, 2018, Carolyn Pappas Duncan, 83, was reunited with her husband, Jack D. Duncan. They were married for 52 years before he passed in 2004. Carolyn was born in Texarkana Texas on August 16, 1934. She was a 1952 graduate of Texas Senior High School. She was retired from J. C. Penny's, a lifelong Democrat and a member of Williams Memorial United Methodist Church. She will also rejoice in heaven with her parents, Charles and Ella Pappas; her brothers, Angelo, Chuck, Billy, Bobby And Jimmy; her sisters, Helen, Mary, Teeny, Betty and Rosemary. Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Duncan of Carrollton, Texas and Jerry Duncan of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Ed Gaughan of Geismar, Louisiana; three granddaughters, Meredith Pinkerton of Panama City, Florida, Jenna Duncan of Denton, Texas and Kenzie Gaughan of Geismar; one grandson-in-law, Billy Pinkerton of Panama City; two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Charlotte Pinkerton also of Panama City. Carolyn also leaves behind a host of family and friends that will greatly miss her sense of humor, exceptional work ethic, and her fiery spirt. A celebration of life will be held Saturday April 7th at 2:00pm at Williams Memorial United Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Brad Morgan. The family would like to invite all to a visitation to be held at the church directly after the service.
