RUSSELL GILLETT

Russell "Rusty Studebaker" Gillett, 77, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, March 31, 2018, at his home. Mr. Gillett was born June 7, 1940 in Cass County, Iowa. He was a retired truck driver, a member of Tex-Ark Antique Auto Museum and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Linda Gillett of Texarkana; three daughters, Samantha Hunt Gillett and fiance' Chris Allen, Mona Kirby and Linda Kirby of Texarkana; one brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Kathy Gillett of Malvern, Iowa; three grandchildren, Caleb Perkins, Tristin Kirby and Retha Price; two great-grandchildren; and one niece. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the family home. Cremation is under direction of East Funeral Home, Downtown. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
