Mary Dillard

Mary Jo Stuart Dillard, 71, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at a local nursing home. Mrs. Dillard was born Feb. 22, 1947, in De Queen, Ark. She was a retired registered nurse and director of nursing at the Federal Correctional Institution and CHRISTUS St. Michael Health Center. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. Survivors include her husband, Derris L. Dillard of Texarkana; four daughters, Gena Birch, Jonie Massey, Lisa Adams and Dana Elliott; one son, Jeremy Dillard; two sisters, Iva Nell Wilson and LaJuan Chandler; 11 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Larry Sims officiating. Burial will be in Old Center Cemetery, Horatio, Ark.
