ASHDOWN, Ark.—Marie Cooper, 83, of Ashdown died Sunday, April 8, 2018. Mrs. Cooper was born Jan. 7, 1935, in Alleene, Ark. She was a Baptist. Survivors include her husband, Harvey Cooper of Ashdown; one son, Harvey Dean Cooper; two brothers, LeRoy Grooms of Cotton Valley, Calif. and Willford Grooms of Ashdown; one grandchild, Jodi Jones; and two great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Madden Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
