BETTY LEE

Betty Lou Lee, 82, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at her home. Ms. Lee was born Sept. 7, 1935, in Amity, Ark. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Edward Lee; and one grandson Dustin Mangum. Survivors include six daughters and one son-in-law, Glenda Burns, Kathy and Jerry Thomas, Karen Corcoran, Sandra Barkley, Lisa Smith and Paula Reed of Texarkana; and two sons, Sammy Lee of Queen City, Texas, and James Lee of Texarkana. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Apostolic Tabernacle with the Rev. J.B. Yelverton officiating under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Online registration is at chapelwoodfuneralhome.com.
