HOPE, Ark.—Margaret Martin, 90, of Hope died Sunday April 9, 2018, in Hope. Mrs. Martin was born Oct. 9, 1927, in Hope. She was a homemaker, member of March of Dimes, Sunday school teacher and member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Martin; and one great-granddaughter, Savannah Grace. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law Tina and Bo Burke of Hope; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Shelton of Beaumont, Texas; three grandchildren and two spouses, Chad and Rachel Burke of Brighton, Tenn., Josh Burke of Cordova, Tenn., and Allison Burke and Glenn Lee of Hope; one niece, Jan Herring of Hope; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Private burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under direction of Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
