EMMETT MARLOWE

Emmett Leroy Marlowe, 74, of Wake Village, Texas, died Tuesday, April 9, 2018, at a local hospital. Mr. Marlowe was born July 17, 1943 in Marianna, Ark. He was a retired coach with Texarkana ISD, a member of Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Laura Marlowe of Wake Village; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kacee and Wes Homeyer of Arlington, Texas, and Ashley and Cody Oyler of Fremont, Utah; two grandchildren, Kataryna Homeyer and Braken Oyler; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Patrick Evans officiating under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
