HAZEL GOECKE

ATLANTA, Texas—Hazel Spangler Goecke, 89, of Highland Village, Texas, died Thursday, April 12, 2018, at a Flower Mound, Texas, nursing home. Mrs. Goecke was born May 8, 1928, in St. Paul, Minn. She was a homemaker and a former secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Goecke; and one son, Gregg Frederick. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Jillayne and Al Russell of Highland Village, Texas, Pamela and Patrick Dinndorf of St. Cloud, Minn., and Peggy Fletcher of Lake Charles, La.; one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Donna Goecke of Atlanta, Texas; one sister, Dorothy Syverson of Bozeman, Mont.; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Hanner Funeral Service with Lyle Schober and Joyce Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Smyrna Cemetery.
