NEW BOSTON, Texas—Bobby Lee Phelps Jr., 48, of Hugo, Okla., died Saturday, March 31, 2018, in New Boston. Mr. Phelps was born June 17, 1969 in Hugo, Okla. Survivors include one daughter, Brittany Phelps of Trinad, Colo.; one brother, Buster Lee Phelps of Athens, Texas; two sisters, Deborah Day of Yale, Okla., and Halona Claurch-Banks of San Antonio; one granddaughter, Jazmaine Phelps of Oklahoma City; one special friend, Karen Hinson of New Boston; six nieces and nephews; eight greatnieces and greatnephews; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Raymond Gary Lake, Fort Towson, Okla., under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
