MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Rodney Darwin Cherry, 51, of Magnolia died Feb. 27, 2018. Mr. Cherry was born Oct. 18, 1966, in Lewisville, Ark. He was owner of ArkLaTex Home Inspections, a reserve officer of Magnolia Police Department and a licensed home inspector. Survivors include his wife, Demetris Skelton Cherry; three children, Heather Cherry Harmon of Conway, Ark., and Justin Cherry and Dakota Shelton of Magnolia; his mother, Shirley Barbaree Cherry of Magnolia; one brother, Douglas Cherry of Texarkana; two sisters, Teresa Cherry Glazer of Westminster, Colo., and Barbara Cherry of DeKalb, Texas; four grandsons; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at R.L. Reed Funeral Home with Ron Owens and Lane Garner officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh No. 2 Cemetery, Falcon, Ark. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
