JOHNENE HARRISON

ATLANTA, Texas—Johnene Harrison, 84, of Queen City, Texas, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Harrison was born Feb. 24, 1934, in Ellisville, Miss. She was retired from International Paper, Mississippi, and Rose Haven Retreat, Atlanta, and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hommer Harrison. Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Betty Lawson and special friend Tevis Pappas of Atlanta and Mary Harrison and Richard Johnson of Redwater, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Hilton and MaryAnn Boykin and Carol and Nikki Boykin of Mossell, Miss.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Atlanta Church of Christ with Jon McCormack officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
