LORENZO RICHARDSON

Lorenzo Richardson, 72, of Missouri City, Texas, died Sunday, April 8, 2018, at his home. Mr. Richardson was born June 6, 1945, in Queen City, Texas. He was a foreman for Texas Iron Works and an Army veteran. Survivors include two sons, Victor Dwayne Richardson and Corey Manwell Richardson of Houston; four brothers, Rommie Lee Richardson of Kansas City, Mo., Wardell N. Richardson and James Edward Richardson of Texarkana and Harold Dwayne Richardson of Anchorage, Alaska; five sisters, Odessa Parks, Lizzie Warren and Shirley Ann Lightsey of Texarkana, Lavannah George of Wake Village, Texas, and Velma Featherfree of Los Angeles; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. T.J. Roberson and L.B. George Jr. officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
