TROY JAMES SR.

Troy Lee James Sr., 66, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, April 15, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. James was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Texarkana. He was an industrial mechanic with International Paper Mill. Survivors include his wife, Deidra Goodloe James of Texarkana; one son, Troy James Jr. of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Jessie Harris of Texarkana; his father, Arthur James Sr. of Texarkana; one brother and sister-in-law, Arthur Jr. and Patsy James Jr. of Lake Charles, La.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Johnnie and Roberg High of Texarkana and Helen Michelle Way of Jackson, Miss.; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Miles Chapel CME Church with the Rev. Dr. James P. Parkins and Elder Don White officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church.
