EDWIN JONES JR.

Edwin Melvin Jones Jr., 70, of Apollo Beach, Fla., died Monday, April 16, 2018, in Apollo Beach. Mr. Jones was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Texarkana, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Garza Jones of Apollo Beach; three daughters, Denise L. Jones and Tonya Parker of Dallas and Millicent M. Jones of Nash, Texas; one son, Marcus Jones of Irving, Texas; one sister, Claire Jones of Houston; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hickory Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. LaMarcus Franklin officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. The body may be viewed 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
