NASHVILLE, Ark.—James "Jet" Edwin Tallant, 71, of Nashville died Friday, April 20, 2018, at his home. Mr. Tallant was born March 5, 1947, in Nashville. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and an Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Denise Tallant of Nashville; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Chris Tallant of Nashville, Brandon and Carrie Tallant of Morrilton, Ark., and Michael and Tyanna Collins of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Charisse and Hank Huffman of Albuquerque, N.M., and Kathrin Tallant of Nashville; one sister, Joyce Geck of Deer Park, Texas; one brother, Jim Tallant of Nashville; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Nashville Funeral Home. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
