Frances Williams

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Frances Storey Estes Williams, 102, of the English community, Texas, died Saturday, April 21, 2018, in San Marcos, Texas. Mrs. Williams was born Aug. 25, 1915, in Red River County, Texas. She was a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.P. Williams. Survivors include one son, Robert Estes; two daughter, Nan Estes Paris and Ruth Estes; one stepdaughter, Paula Williams Porterfield; one nephew, Jonathan Grant; one niece, Barbara Baker Motley; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Williams Chapel United Methodist Church, English community, with the Rev. Jack Cloyd officiating. Burial will be in English Cemetery under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to English Cemetery Society, P.O. Box 6, Clarksville, TX 75426.
