Juanita Worthington

Juanita B. Worthington, 76, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, April 23, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Worthington was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Texarkana. She was retired from Montgomery Ward and a member of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, Shreveport, La. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Watson; and one daughter, Cathy Champagne. Survivors include her husband, James Worthington of Texarkana; two daughters, Lisa Holt of Texarkana and Sadie Garcia of Las Vegas; one son, Jerry Watson of Austin; one sister, Barbara Sparks of Lafayette, La.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at All Saints of America Orthodox Christian Church, De Queen, Ark., with the Rev. Daniel Bethancourt officiating. Burial will be in All Saints of America Christian Church Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
