Jahue W. Martin, 85, of Fouke, Ark., died Monday, April 23, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Martin was born July 30, 1932, in Horatio, Ark. He was retired from GTE, a member of Sylverino Baptist Church and a Korean War Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Irene Martin; one son, Lewis D. Martin; one daughter, Theresa I. Erwin; one granddaughter, Michele Ann Green; and one great-granddaughter, Kennedy Lane Martin. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Betty Ann and Pete Green of Texarkana and Linda and Danny Gholson and Janette Bledsoe of Fouke; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Judy Martin of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Virginia Henson of Killeen, Texas, Julia Mae Stumberg of Alpine, Texas, and Dorothy Zagarba of Angleton, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with Bill Green and Rusty Martin officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
