GEORGIA HOPKINS

Georgia Mae Hopkins, 82, of Ashdown, Ark., died Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Ashdown. Ms. Hopkins was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Foreman, Ark. She was a hospital nurse aide. Survivors include two sons, Benny C. Phillips and Greg L. Hopkins of Ashdown; two daughters, Annette Davis and Denice Jetton of Ashdown; nine brothers, John Henry Marshall, Johnny Marshall, Lee Marshall and Henry Marshall of Lubbock, Texas, Larry Marshall of Dallas, Ben Marshall Jr. of Fort Worth, Teas, Charles Marshall of Savannah, Ga., Bennie Marshall of Midland, Texas, and Henry Wright of Foreman, Ark.; five sisters, Mary Ann Denson of Ashdown, Ark., Bernice Monroe and Dorothy Brown of Idabel, Okla., and Shirley Pennon and Christene Wright of Broken Bow, Okla.; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Greater Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Revs. Anthony Nelson and Kevin Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Rhodes Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. Online registration is at jonesstuartmortuary.com.
